Synopsis: Northern France, 2005: Malik, a police inspector, watches helplessly as a child dies following a kidnapping. In charge of the investigation, he fails to find the murderer. TEN YEARS LATER, with no new evidence, no trace of a dangerous criminal still at large, the case is about to be closed once and for all.
