Synopsis: Jeremy, a high school senior, and his girlfriend, Samantha, have decided to stay together when she leaves for her freshman year of college. However, after he gets a drunken, middle of the night phone call, he worries she might have just broken up with them. The next day Jeremy impulsively steals his driver’s ed car, with three fellow students in it (the school outcast, the valedictorian, and an artsy girl who doesn’t believe love is real) on a mission to drive to Chapel Hill and win her back. Over the course of the next twenty four hours they will be pursued by school security and state police, shot at by small-time criminals, adopt a three-legged cat, and learn things about each other and themselves that will change their lives. This is a film about young love, unexpected friendships, and coming of age in ways you never expected.
